Emergency hearing sought over abrupt Kennedy Center closure
WASHINGTON >> Lawyers for a Democratic lawmaker today requested an emergency hearing in federal court over whether the abrupt closure of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts violates a judge’s earlier order that barred the institution from shuttering.
