Dr. Jocelyn Wittstein recommends that women begin receiving bone density scans earlier than currently prescribed to combat the 'silent disease' of bone loss.
While speaking with Norah O'Donnell on "Healthful, Dr. Jocelyn Wittstein called bone density loss a "silent disease" and said women should be getting Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry, or DEXA, scans earlier than what is typically prescribed.
