Ted Cruz doesn’t see a clear GOP presidential successor in 2028: ‘No Donald Trump on the horizon’

Senator Ted Cruz stated that there is currently no clear Republican successor to Donald Trump for the 2028 presidential race. Speaking on "Pod Force One," Cruz characterized Trump as a unique historical figure. He suggested that no comparable leader is currently visible on the political horizon to follow him.
"President Trump is a unique historical figure. I'm going to say right now, there is no Donald Trump on the horizon to succeed [him],” Cruz told "Pod Force One."
