Hurricane Nolo is causing scattered power outages in Hawaii, primarily affecting over 600 customers on Hawaiʻi Island. Utility crews are currently working to restore service across the affected regions.
As of 7:30 a.m., crews were working to restore about 626 who are without power on Hawaiʻi Island in areas of Ocean View, Hāmākua, Lower Puna, Ka‘ū and North Kohala. There are no major outages on Maui County or Oʻahu, with crews addressing outages impacting less than 40 customers in each county.
