Tenants of Milwaukee apartment buildings ordered to vacate due to ‘severe life safety issues’
Tenants in Milwaukee apartment buildings were ordered to vacate after inspections revealed severe life safety issues and illegal occupancy. The buildings were deemed a hazard to the public and occupants.
A notice on the front of the buildings says it was "illegally occupied and unfit for human habitation." An emergency order said an inspection found "conditions that violate" Milwaukee ordinances and the building is a "hazard to the safety and welfare of the occupants or the public."
