In Lehigh Valley visit, U.S. Energy secretary to tout $2B for aging power grid
The U.S. Energy Secretary is visiting the Lehigh Valley to announce $2 billion in funding for 31 projects aimed at improving the national power grid.
The money will go toward 31 projects across 26 states that are expected to produce more than 23 gigawatts of additional electricity capacity — enough to power 16 million homes.
