The San Antonio-based grocer sold the vacant land at the intersection of Canyon Golf Road and East Borgfeld Drive to an entity linked to Birnbaum Property Co., according to property records. The Bexar Appraisal District values the site at $3.71 million. H-E-B purchased a total of 9.7 acres at the intersection in 2011.
