A new apartment building in Makiki is being renovated to provide housing and training for homeless young adults who have aged out of the foster care system.
Renovations continue on a seven-unit, two-story apartment building in Makiki near Walmart and Sam’s Club that will house and train homeless teenagers and young adults who have aged out of Hawaii’s foster care system and have no place to live.
