Powerful Hurricane Polo drenches Mexico's coast as Nolo takes aim at Hawaii
Hurricane Polo has strengthened into a major storm, bringing heavy rain and landslide threats to southwestern Mexico. Residents are bracing for potential mudslides as the hurricane moves through the Pacific. Simultaneously, another storm system named Nolo is approaching Hawaii.
The National Hurricane Center said parts of Hawaii will likely start experiencing hurricane conditions by Friday night.
