Letter: Chang must put players’ well-being above win

Never have I witnessed such blatant disregard for the safety and well-being of a player. Micah Alejado took such a hit during the University of Hawaii football game against New Mexico State that coach Timmy Chang should have immediately pulled him out and checked for a concussion or other brain injury. Instead, coach Chang let Michah decide, allowing him to go back in to complete the game. Leaving it up to the player was totally irresponsible. It seems that Chang wanted only to win.
