Doctors say children of immigrants are missing healthcare

A survey of more than 1,600 physicians by the American Academy of Pediatrics found that 40% of pediatricians reported children in immigrant families are avoiding medical care. These healthcare gaps are primarily driven by concerns regarding immigration status, according to the surveyed doctors.
